Is it better to have outside Hub readers or readers from inside Hub?

I am trying to figure out how to appeal to people inside Hubpages, and I was wondering if somebody had feedback?  I have people who will read my pages from the outside world, but is that good?  Should I be trying to attract fellow hubbers instead?  I'm about a week old and looking for a little advice...

If you're trying to make money, you're going to want to get most of your traffic from outside of HubPages.  Search engine traffic usually monetizes best.

    Ok.  Why is that?

Hubbers usually don't click on ads, because they're already here for other reasons.  People coming in from search engines are actively looking for something (information, a product, etc), and are thus more likely to click on ads--which is what makes you money.

The 'outsiders' click those ads so you can rake in the dough.

Ah!  Ok, gotcha.  Thanks ladies.  I now understand.
