I signed up for Kontera and got approved, got everything done.  Now I notice that I need to "Copy and paste this tag right before the  tag on every page on your site where you want ContentLinksĀ® to appear"

Huh? How do I do that? How do I enter HTML code in each one of my hubs?

Can someone help me so that context-related text-based ads can appear in my hubs? hmm

You don't need to play around with HTML, you only need to put in your affilate ID into here http://hubpages.com/my/affiliate

And then make your changes to the "Kontera Specific Settings" bit further down that page.

Be aware that unless you're making over $5 a month from Kontera that they will confiscate those funds from you.

Here is the answer from Kontera website:
        http://kb.kontera.com/questions/16/How+ … Kontera%3F

How can I get an affiliate link and refer people to Kontera?
Are you interested in Kontera's Affiliate Program that enables our partners to generate additional revenue by referring other publishers to our network?

The members of Kontera's Affiliate Program are all publishers in our network who meet the following requirements:

        1.    Publisher has run Kontera ads for at least 3 months.
        2.    Publisher revenue is $100 or more each month.
        3.    Publisher is in good standing with Kontera.

When a publisher signs up through your affiliate link, you will receive a referral bonus of 10% of their net revenue for the first year with Kontera.

Here's a tip, if you don't know, don't say anything.

That will save us countless useless responses.

well I put in my affiliate ID... it says "active", I made Kontera links active on all of my hubs yesterday, yet there are no ads on any of my hubs.

Are you sure I don't need HTML code?

You won't see it if you're logged in.

Log out, and visit one of your own hubs, you should be able to see them then.

Anyone else find it ridiculous that the ads don't show up unless logged out? Even if your on other peoples pages they wont show up I'm sure a lot of the revenue would be from other members..

No, a lot of revenue is not generated from the communities members.

Many avoid clicking on ads. It's not a good habit to get into.

You don't post the code to your Hubs, which would be clear to you if you had read how this site works.  You only would be posting code to individual pages if you have your own site.

Once you put your Kontera code on the below page, that's all you do

      http://hubpages.com/my/affiliate

I can't find my affiliate code for Kontera either, on my Hubpages account it says not active but text links are showing successfully.

Also, something strange which I've noticed - the Kontera links on my hubs have magically turned into Vibrant Media links!  Are they the same company or are Hubpages now using Vibrant instead?

That's another service that HubPages is testing during their timeshare of the ad impressions.  They've not yet said anything about how those ads are performing.
