I have been looking for five weeks on how to find out where I can see my fans, well I finally found it.  When you click on your profile, usually your hubs pop up.  I guess I didnt bother to scroll down.  Now that I know who my fans are, I can view their hubs and comment on them.  How embarassing.

Well here is something equally embarrasing. I have 158 and can only see 6 i am supposed to do something to see the others so when I press 2 i will get more then 3 etc.... I am so computer illiterate i dont know how to do it..... I dont know how to do smileys, and I cant work out how to add amazon so i can earn money.....  Poor me

you are serious!...look at the top right when editing a hub.  You see the amazon thing on there, click on it...scroll to bottom of page and you will see the amazon thing, click edit and type in some keywords of what you want to put on the ad and then click preview amazon results.  you have to have signed up for amazon affiliate first.

when you open the box to 'post reply'
bottom right you will see Formatting Tips
Open an look down for smileys
type in codes , then submit ( I leave a space after other words I have typed too) try it out smile
( I wont laugh, if ya get it wrong) ok I might smile..lol

and dont ever feel bad about asking , thats the only way I found out wink cuz smiley school was all booked out

I will leave this for someone else to help you with Brenda (sorry) but URL's are new for me too.
I am signed up for Amazon more through luck than good management ,and I havent earned a cent yet. And I have no idea if one can even tell if someone bought anything via an advert on their hub or not ,so Im in the dark still , lol.

    annvansposted 14 years ago

yeah, you can find it in hubpages help or on the help forum.  I found it i think in the hubpages help...i know that there is a url that you use, I cannot remember what it is, will see if I can find it.

  18. profile image0
    annvansposted 14 years ago

ok, it says the url is what your profile is.  Go to your profile and copy the url, paste it where it asks for the url when signing up.

It's easy to post smiley's here, or other  images. just type this:
    [img][/img]
Now the brackets must be just like I have here, notice the difference in them? Go to a site like clipartof com/gallery/emoticons/animated.html and right click on the image and click on image location and then paste it in between those brackets.
I left the . out of the link to keep it intact for ya, otherwise they would have snipped it

When I first joined hubpages, the Hub Challenge was going in full force. I joined it and was so busy writing hubs that I never discovered the forums. I only started posting here a couple of weeks ago. Embarrassing to say I didn't even know there was a forum for 6 weeks.
