Post them in here. Please don't post them in other threads, or start multiple threads for individual hubs, as it will quickly fill up the sub-forum and make it harder for people to offer advice when help is being sort.
So, post links in this thread. Nowhere else. Thanks!
Fudge - simply start publishing hubs. If you start say tomorrow, the 2nd, then within the 30 days following you simply publish 30 hubs in total.
If you don't manage 30, don't worry. There are no penalties if you don't make it. The whole 'challenge' is about personal goals and achieving them. It gives you the motivation and something to aim for.
And take it from one who knows - it works
So if you read up on the rules (posted at the top of this forum) and think you want to give it a try, then jump in.
And if you need any help, just ask. But - better you stay out of this thread (and start another under this sub section) so that you don't get buried
I am not sure what all this means...follow the thread here...as opposed to what? I am interested in the question of having followers on Tweet. I used to link to Digg and Stumble Upon. Are those no longer viable?
Hi darkside, I have a small doubt. After a break of almost an year (more than 10 months) I have started publishing hubs again. To be precise, my first hub after the long absence came out on 21st July and I have published at least one hub daily since then (till today, that is). So, can I count myself in for the challenge from 21st onwards? Or from 24th onwards?
9. http://hubpages.com/hub/Fallout-3-Mothe … eta-Review (Sloppy and lacking content, trying to get on the train to some traffic boosts because it came out today. It actually makes me ill that I 'stooped' to that, and am strongly considering deleting it. I've started the DLC, so I can add some more content soon, but I think it may continue to stare at me
I am on day six of the 30 day hub challenge because I posted late and the first hub has the date of 25/07/09. My question is how to find my link. When I publish a hub for the first time I see the link. But if I am on a public computer that someone else needs to use, I may have to leave the hub quickly. How do I find the link again? How do I find the hub again if it is incomplete? I have a hub that I cannot find the text capsule for even though I can see the tags. Going to edit does not help. I know it has been saved as I saved it. But where is it?
Log into your HubPages account, click the "My account" button on top. Now you see a list of your hubs. If you have lots, you can filter by category. Click on the hub in the list to see the full URL and then click edit button to edit.
Darkside, I went through the whole hub page re:30 hubs in 30 days...trial membership for $1, then $33 per month... but it will take 2-3 days for my paypal to be in effect so...I'm hanging here...I do have a question in the meantime, I'm 2 weeks new into Hubpages, I have 4 Hubs...todays is doing the best I have seen so far, yet...my rating is extremely low, how does this work? What can I do? I want to take the 30 hub challenge by the way...I read you are on the team, how do I notify?
I just created a hub. It's geared as an aid to new bloggers, a quick & dirty 5 ways to create content. Any advice would be great as this is the first time I have used this format, as well as the first time I've written anything helpful. Comments & critique would be great! Thanks.
Darkside is explaining that the any links hubbers post regarding the HubChallenge should be posted in this thread instead of opening up new threads all over the place. It's just to keep things organized. If you're asking what the Hub Challenge is...there is more information here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/17849
Basically, it's just a challenge to yourself to write 30 hubs in 30 days. Day 1 is whenever you decide to start. It's ongoing, so everyone is on their own schedule. It's just a fun way to motivate yourself to write. It has had some significant payoffs for some of us in the way of pageviews and/or revenue.
I'm in but I have no idea what I'm doing. I started the 30 day challenge on 9/29 and have 6 hubs to date. I've posted the 30 day challenge photo on all 6 of them. Please let me know if I'm not headed in the right direction or if I need to do something more. I've got three more underway for the weekend. I'm challenging myself to keep up...
Well, I haven't gone to read your hubs yet, but based on what you're saying you've done it sounds perfect! I'll go read them now.
I read several and the only suggestion I would make is to cut down the size on the HubChallenge logo. It's quite large and pixelated and I think distracts from your otherwise excellent articles. Keep up the good work!
The Jewish, Social Ostracisation and The Asperger’s Autism Connection – A Theory By shazwellyn The Theory
This is my theory on Jewish, Asperger’s Autism and why this group has been ostracised in history. I do not have any evidence of this and would much appreciate if anyone has some research to either agree or disagree with this hypothesis. http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Jewish-Soci … n-A-Theory
I just started the 30/30hub challenge today in response to a challenge thrown out in another thread. I have been here for two years and only posted about 35 hubs. I dont know what I was thinking not doing this before. I'm looking forward to seeing the fruits of my labor. There are actually three articles in this series now, but these are the two since I took up the challenge.
In 33 days i was able to accomplish writing 20 hubs. This was a considerable improvement in pace of writing. I will be taking up another 30 days challenge soon and will try to finish all 30 of them. My hub links to the rest 16 articles are below , anyone intrested can correct my :
This was a great learning experience, i understood that many wont be able to achive this first time, but as we get practive we would be able to write articles more effortlessly , and sort of melt into the whole process of hubbing. I suggest all of the novice hubbes try this challenge!
You are the first to replay to a post in the forums. Quite exciting for me. Thank you for encouraging me to sign-up for the 30 day challange. I tried my best, but health issues kept me from reaching my goal. I will try this again next time.
I'm sorry that you've struggled with health issues. I am aware of some of what has gone on. In the meantime, never fret about not finishing the challenge-there is always another. I didn't make the one in April or this one in May either. There are just a few more issues that I am taking care of on a personal basis. Hopefully, I will be free of this in June or July. Take care of yourself and be sure to read the 'Economical Vacation' hub I wrote.

So here I am, giving the 30 day challenge another try. Every hub I have written seems to have an almost symmetrical distribution of readership. I have gotten positive feedback, have done a lot of SEO, but still lack the intended readership numbers. I understand that it takes time, but like everyone around here, I am looking for ways to improve. It appears that I am missing something when it comes to finding sought after topics. Besides going through Google Keywords and similar tools, how did you come across your winning articles? Is there a general rule when finding sought after topics?
So, that's 51 in 30. Some of them need to be taken out and shot. Some need to be burned and then the ashes buried. One or two may deserve to live.
I guess that's proof that you can do it. Some of these were staring around the room looking for something to write about. Some were suggestions from my wife. The one that got the HubNugget was caused by sitting behind an SUV at a red light a block from my house.
I ventured out to read some of your hubs and they are all quality hubs and are attractive. I do have just a couple of suggestions.
You may want to break your hubs up into at least 2-3 text modules instead of one. It will look similiar to your Smoothie hub, but it will allow Google to slip some ads in in between and they like that. Having it broken up helps the reader too. The "Lyrics of Coldplay" hub is a bit more difficult to follow because of the layout.
I love the photos hub, however, why not add words and tell us about where the photos were taken, why you like the photo, etc? Photos alone generally don't do well with Adsense because they have nothing to determine what types of ads to put there and what would people who come to that hub want to buy?
The last suggestion has to do with length. For best results most feel that you should have a minimum of 700-1000 words. Some even feel 1500 is good. You'll have to play with it and see what works best for you.
I did the first one a couple of days before the start of the HubChallenge but I'm counting it in because I already knew that the HubChallenge was coming, plus the new HubChallenge rules say we can start anytime.
The main forums are strictly policed, because if they aren't, there would be hundreds of threads and thousands of links. It happens.
And rather than encourage the same in this sub-forum, this specific thread is to keep all those links together.
Though if a person is doing a one-off hub, or make just a couple a week, then this isn't the place to post it. It's for people who are making a determined effort to write and publish 30 hubs in 30 days.
published number 3 of 30 and I met my deadline today. I am really enjoying this challenge. Asherkade we can only post our hubs in this thread because it's the 30 hub challenge ordinarily it's just for support and general chat, are you doing the 30 hub challenge!
kinda not really...if I really commmited to it, I would have starved kids and pets, and crime would shoot up....
plus, I quite honestly don't undrestand the purpose of it. Would you not be less likely to read others' hubs if there were more published in such a constant and overwelming manner? Would your hubs have less quality and time devoted to them due to the pressure of making one EVERY day? I would rather write a few really great ones than a lot of mediocre ones. I know a few peple here who can write many at a time and still have a lot of quality with their hubs, but I don't see how everyone could possess those rare traits...
And no one knows until they try. If you're not in the challenge, why do you keep coming back to the Challenge forums? Curious? Teetering? Jealous? Please don't take this as me running you off either. You are most welcome here, it's not just for those participating, but it does make me curious about you.
Only four hubs down so far-but managed to get my blog page and twitter accounts going. http://anarchigirl.blogspot.com/ I do notice a drastic change in the number of page views since the Hubmob Challenge-and twitter but not much feedback or comments:-/
The people who find your hub via a google search, etc. don't usually comment. But, they are the ones who click on ads. They are where your money will come from. You have to remember that we're all producing a lot of hubs right now and it takes awhile for all our fans to catch up on all that reading. Some of them will start to get more selective about what they read. Remember, catchy titles, do the things that make them want to read YOUR hub over the others. Just don't overthink it. Write, write, write and let the good stuff flow and it wall all start to fall in place on it's own. You're doing a great job!
