That's a decent earnings from Google. But, considering the time and effort you have put in, I think Adsense is not paying much.

Is there any other better way we can monetize our Hubpages?

$13.36 on 2558 hub views is actually an excellent rate of return (on a per hub view basis).   The way to make more money is to figure out how to increase traffic to your hubs (which does seem to be happening gradually for prasadjain now, after much persistence).

I'm not sure what the $80 in expenses was from -- internet access charges I suspect.  Just to avoid any confusion if someone new reads this -- HubPages is and always has been free to use (once you're connected to the internet).

Thanks to Shalini, Pauldeeds and Thoogun For their resonses. The expenditure is not a payment to hubpages. It is the expense related to scanning and internet accession charges(telehone charge, precisely). After rechecking, my earning at google today is-$14.16.Reason for low earning is the lack of my technical knowhow. In future days, I wish to keep some experienced person to make referrels, bookmarks etc, by referring to relevent articles.
Anyway, we should appreciatethe promoters of this website for creating this excellent forum which has produced a fine world wide freternity.
I wish to suggest that all of us should make it a point to to click on the ads on the hubpages of our loving hubbers whenever we visit them.

Hi Prasadian! I´m new at hubpages but am quite experienced in internet marketing.I make about $80 per month from adsense from my blog , The Home Business Archive, http://www.tlmarketing.net .I use only web2.0 techniques in my marketing and constantly get over 22,000 unique visitors per month to my blog.My traffic is getting better all the time.

    Just my opnion

Hubpages is not for building an income    It a large piece of the puzzle in your marketing efforts.
Combine hub pages with other blogs, articles, forum, posts and  affiliate programs etc

This domain might be unrelated to hubpages but it kind of shows what I believe a hubpage network could look like

    http://hubpage.com/

Build a network of sites that point to your hub that is where you will find more sales

lets see, its been about 3 weeks and I have 14 hubs, 14 fans, and 3673 page views.

On Amazon I've sold 18 items (unfortunately 3 were returned) for a profit of $10.51

My google account didn't activate until later so its had 1,097 pages views and made 92 cents

I think the most exciting part has been that I've gotten more than 100 views from different search engines. plus I've gotten about 350 views from stumbleupon and digg combined. Oh and someone posted one of my hubs on a forum which surprised me and made me quite happy.
