Quick question

If I'm getting traffic from mail.google.com, does that mean that someone emailed my link and the recipient clicked on it?

This is what I'm assuming, but I seem to get a bunch of traffic from there and it seems unlikely?

I think so, I got some traffic from an email, in my analytics it even showed me what email they sent it from (the first part of their address)..

      That's what I'd be assuming.

Can't it also mean some of her fans use gmail and view her hubs from the notifications?

This is what I figured.  Or someone emailed my hub to someone else.

Fan mail notifications - if you are in someone's fan club you get email notification when they publish a new hub.

Unless, of course, you've unchecked the box labeled "Receive email from your favorite authors?" on your profile settings page.  The notifications may end up in your spam email folder sometimes too.
