I started to set up a hub and had everything completed except the very last step of typing the two words in at the anti-spam tool.
I went through probably 30 different sets of words/numbers and each time I was told,'something went wrong, try again and leave a comment at the feedback link".
First, there is no feedback link that I can find and nothing for a contact us link.
This forum is all I have found.
Next, I'm allowing cookies so the problem isn't that.
I allowed for case sensitivity as well.
I don't use IE, I use Firefox as I don't use windows at all.
Compatibility shouldn't be an issue as I was able to sign up for an account and have verified that as well.
Is there a glitch in the spam tool for whatever reason?
What a pain! I'm sorry you're having trouble. All I can think is that there's some kind of glitch in the system right now (I have to say, I can't recall ever having come across the anti-spam tool myself).
Maybe give it some time and try again later.
I think there's a glitch in the bit of programming that checks to see if the URL has already been claimed.
Usually what happens is if it's taken, it'll tell you after you've typed in your title/url. But I've had this catch me out a few times in the last couple of days and I've been getting the same error as you.
For your chosen URL, go and check it by putting the full URL in the web address bar, ie: http://hubpages.com/hub/THE-NAME-OF-YOUR-HUB-HERE and see if it's already published or otherwise taken.
Gaytor Bayt, are you still having this problem? I just made a hub and solved the CAPTCHA without any problems using Firefox.
By the way, if you click on the help menu item on the top right of the page, that will take you to our FAQ which links to an email address where you can contact us. That address is team@hubpages.com. But it is generally best to report technical problems in this forum as you have done.
darkside, I will look into the url problem and see if I can reproduce it.
I'm wondering if it's a problem with my browser, as I'm also seeing profile pages with the sidebar right down the bottom and not on the right side.
But the problem Gaytor has described is the same result I'm seeing when I've been trying to claim already claimed URLs.
There does seem to be a bug involving existing hub urls. Larry and I are looking into it.
Gaitor Bayt, if you happen to read this, please contact me or team@hubpages.com. You can contact me by going to my profile ( http://hubpages.com/profile/fawntia ) and clicking on the "Contact Fawntia" link. Thanks.

Looking at my account stats this evening, 28 Feb. 2017, at 19:00 hours, PST, I was taken aback to see "earnings this month $0.00. Since it is not yet 1 March, and HP HQ is in the same time zone I am, it was rather a shock, as I've been following my earnings, and I've earned more than...

Just for a bit of background - I have been writing online for years, and literally have millions of words "out there". Only once did I have an AdSense account, and if I remember correctly, it was for a blog that is rarely used. It still appears, if I right-click on the blog, and view the...

I received an email that a new Hub is "eligible" for a niche site. But it suggests I need to proofread it before it can move over. I edited the article for readability and ran it through a spelling and grammar checker before I published it. After receiving the email, I reread it and ran...

Why can't I post a comment? When I click Post Comment it just send me to the top of the page. Nothing else happens. Is anyone else experiencing this?
