I just don't understand. It was so high yesterday, and today... ughh... What's wrong? My earnings are nearly gone.

Have you checked for suspicious clicks? Are you sure someone isn't trying to ban you by clicking your ads?

Are you always so negative? I hardly think someone would go that far out of their way to have her banned.  That is a lot of clicking.

You seriously are confusing me with someone else for a long time now.

The other day I commented on one of your hubs and you were referring to something that happened on the forums when nothing really happened. I never PM you.

Lady! Go figure out who the guy is you confuse me with all the time.

I am one great, nice, awesome guy. lol lol lol

So you don't want to disclose your salary? big_smile

I think she's pulling your leg!

A very nice spoof of those who post "proof" of earnings, which is easily doctored.

P.S. I know this is a leg-pull, because she's previously posted that she makes between $18-$25 a day from her hubs.

Whitney has clearly stated loads of times she makes about $500 a month so I think she's clearly having a laugh. I really am almost wetting myself at anyone that believes this. Oh hold on, I think Santa Claus is at my door, the buggers early smile

if you could also write 500 hubs on different niches and high cpc keywords, then its possible

she also has other sites too and i enjoy viewing them

The really serious money made online is not with Adsense - it's with affiliate sales.

Think about it - the advertiser is using Adwords to buy traffic, and is only doing so because he can make even more selling those visitors a product.

So the profit margin thing goes like this - say on average advertiser makes $2 per visitor, he pays Google Adwords $0.50 per visitor, and thus his profit margin is $1.50.  Google also has a profit margin - of the $0.50 per click they receive, they will pay you about $0.12.

Now think. If you were hogging the lucrative #1 spots in the search results generating a shedload of traffic, why on earth would you have Adsense on your sites? You would cut out the middlemen (Google and the advertiser buying Adwords) and put the product on your site yourself and sell direct.

Adsense is only really used by us small fry because we are noobs to this whole process and are testing to see if certain niches are worth it. The big money earners don't use it - and they don't post on blogs either saying what they earn - that's kept secret between them and the Inland Revenue.

The only people who post "proof" are fake-it-till-you-make-it types who are trying to sell you something.  But it's clearly effective, as so many are so eager to believe - as Whitney has just proved.
