Having a bad day...

Today sucks big time. I was supposed to go to this thing with my husband today where he works but the jerk left his phone on vibrate like he ALWAYS does and I was trying to figure out where to park and where to go but he didn't get back to me until a few minutes ago and the thing is well under way. First I was going to go with him but then that would mean get up early and have to stay there until he was done and I didn't want to do that. So then we decided I would take my own car. but like I said his phone is on vibrate. Feels like a slap across the face to me like he just doesn't care nor wanted me there.

As something like this ever happen to you?

I'm tired and it's early...crying my eyes out right now and hate it.

Yes, something like this has happened; except I was the husband.  I won't take his side, but it might make you feel a little better if you can think of ways this could have been an honest mistake.  I know I have done things that have hurt my wife and caused her to cry as well.  I have never done them on purpose, but that doesn't help much at the time.

I am sure he cares and was saddened by your absence.  Hopefully your day will get better.  If not, try ice cream.  My wife claims it helps.

Yes but he conitiously does it and not just to me but to everyone. I can see while he is at work but this is a family function and he knew I wanted to come so why have his damn phone on vibrate? because he is a man and he forgets it's on vibrate since it's ALWAYS on vibrate.

But I like your wife. She and I need to hook up and talk bad about our husbands lmao

Crazdwriter please don't cry. My hubby did things like this for years but now i have reprogrammed him and he is much more considerate...Like the time when we were dating I said I would come around and cook him a meal....he said, "but the footies on can we leave it till tommorrow cause you will only want me to talk to you."..aaaggghhhhhhh

I'm not going to go...no point I won't have any fun. I'm thinking of going out and walking around somewhere though to help me cool down some.

I think there was a reality show dealing with issues like this called wife swap or something.  We could try something like that if you like.  My wife has me whipped into shape, so you could spend a few weeks with me, being pampered, massaged, and cooked for, while my wife puts your husband through his re-education program.

You'd come home to a well trained husband, and my wife would get a reminder of just how good she has it. smile

I have over the years done things or forgotten things that caused my wife to cry.  I've never done it intentionally, but it has happened.  We always talk it through afterward, and I'd say its about a 50/50 split of misunderstanding on her part, and occassionally being an idiot on my part.
