Problems Posting New Hub

I just tried to post a new hub, and the preview showed up in a type face similar to that of a typewriter, while my "profile banner" (if that's what you call the thing with your image, hub info, etc.) came across some of the text.

I tried again, and it kept happening.  After I kept trying I discovered I had several empty hubs on the same subject in my account.  I think I've deleted the extras, but now there's still the one with the weird typeface that is blocked.

I didn't want HubPages to think I'm doing something "funny" on here, but I don't know who to let know about this problem.

Essentially, posting isn't working.  I don't know, though, if its my new computer or something else.  (I've tried both Firefox and Explorer.  Its the same on both.)

which browser are you using?  i found that hubpages.com works/ works better in some browsers than in others.  i use a macintosh laptop and run a couple different browsers.  when i come to hubpages, however, i know that i need to switch over to my foxfire broswer because it doesn't seem to work well when i use the standard browser that comes with my mac.

try out firefox, if you haven't already.

Thanks.  I've tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer and gotten some version of the same results.  I'll try again today to see what happens.

Weird stuff happens with text capsules from time to time - I just got something similar on a minor edit to a published hub - it was OK though when I  finished editing.  It isnt necessarily you- I'd give it 1/2 hr and try again.  make sure you write content in a WP so that if it all goes screwy you only have to cut and paste!

Good point.   I have a tendency not to necessarily do that (and I have been known to lose quite a bit of work on other writing sites as a result of that).   I kept trying to post and trying to post.  As a result I ended up with four of the same post, and I didn't want HubPages to think I was doing something questionable.  Then - deleting them was tricky because I had trouble figuring out which were the empty ones and which one I wanted to keep.

Yes.  I've been having my text appear in a Courier font and being double spaced.  It seems to be temporary and if I click "Edit" on the capsule and resave, it's fine, but it's doing this quite often.  Anyone else having similar problems?

Glad to know it isn't just me.  Courier is what I'm getting (among other "issues").  Thanks for the "resave" tip.  I'll try that if it still happens.

Yes, the capsules are most definitely acting up again.  Who knows why?

I'm having the problem with both browsers: IE and Seamonkey (formerly Mozilla), so I don't think it is a browser issue, but I could be wrong.  Something is definitely glitchy though.

I am having a problem also.  The last two days I have tried to post the same hub and yesterday it would let me get edit the text capsule but once I clicked save the whole page remailed gray as it does when the edit box was open.  I tried again and again then gave up.  Then today I tried it again and when I opened the text capsule and pasted my hub, I olny got a few lines that pasted.  I retried again and again and even opened a new one, but it still does the same thing.  I have not been able to post a hub for two days.......  I have tried everything from turning off and on my virus and firewall program, different browsers......  please help!!!!!
