How many Hubbers use the material gained from HubPages forums to write Hubs?
For me, the forums are a sideline, an additional amusement on HP--not the source for my hub material. I can get to know HP contributors by reading what they write, but I prefer to launch my own topics, for whatever they're worth.
It could theoretically be a great research tool.
Use the hubbers as your sample population
see what topics and trends are most popular
aggregate the most intelligent comments and links into a hub
It doesnt mean your trying to get hubbased traffic, just an easy way to see whats popular
But in answer to your question, never.
There are a lot of great things brought up in the forums but I write for whatever is going to bring me the money.
I should spend more times in the forums but being a marketer for me is a full time job along will all the other daily activities going on.
