Can someone use their own affiliate account to make a personal purchase, effectively getting a discount? Or is that frowned upon by the amazonian gods?

I know should go look at amazon to find out, but I'd rather talk to you beautiful people big_smile

its specifically disallowed..but I know many who do it frequently without negative recourse

Remember they know your originating IP, the Ip you signed up with, your billing address and the address you want to receive payments to.

They can easily flag duplicates in that structure, not worth the risk to your account if your unfamiliar with virtual credit cards and ip changing

I shall take that warning to heart. I'm always buying DVDs through them. Fortunately I have a personal account I can use for that.
