What is the purpose of groups?

I don't understand the purpose. I created a group for my related hubpages, but I don't see that anything has changed. What exactly are groups? Why would we want to create one? What is their advantage to a hubpage?

    http://hubpages.com/faq/#hubgroups

People like groups for when they create multi-page Hubs, or if they are going to write a bunch on one subject.

If you put more than one Hub in the same group it will place arrows at the bottom of your Hub to the next one in the group.

You can manage all your hubs and groups here:

      http://hubpages.com/my/groups

You can also change the group of a hub when you are editing it by selecting the "group" tab at the top of the edit page.

Can other people join/add their hubs to your Hub Group?

No.  You can only add your own hubs to your own groups.

Hello the concept of group is great, but it's really cumbersome to use it so that I rather put a lot tags: it's just quicker smile

Maybe you can improve the usability of the group : I will be the first to use it !

I've noticed that the group navigation has been pushed down to the very bottom of the page in the new design. It used to be at the top.

Perhaps it could be moved relatively empty to the side bar instead?

We had that suggestion to add a right sidebar that lists all the Hubs in the group.  I'm sure Paul Deeds will take a look at this suggestion.  Thanks!
