I haven't worked out how to show image and text capsules side by side. If I shrink both capsules, I still can't drag them so that they fit side by side.
I suspect that some of the more professional hubbers (e.g. Mark Knowles) are actually using HTML within a text module to achieve their layouts. If so, I am quite happy to go this way - I just want to make sure I make full use of HubPages tools first, becuase it's quicker.
You can't use HTML on HubPages - you are close to getting it right - quickest way - leasve the text capsule full width - shrink the photo to 1/2 width and then click up or down button on the photo to get it next to the text capsule - I wrote a lot more about layout here http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Create-a … ive-Design
using the arrows on the capsules, put your photo capsule to the top of the text capsule , then slide the photo capsule to the right hand side You will then find that your capsules are side by side ,the same applies with video, ebay amazon and news capsules, good luck .....jimmy
Thanks, both of you. It hadn't occurred to me to do what is effectively nesting a floated image capsule inside the text capsule. Expect my future hub layouts to look just a bit more professional.

I like to add in-text links when I'm talking about certain products as I not only think they are some of the most effective, but also some of the most helpful. What I don't understand is why there is a limit of 2...
