If they are copyright free you can use them.

As Uninvited Writer has mentioned you can use them as long as they are copyright free. Google image search gives you the ability to filter out images that have copyrights. Go to Google Image search and then click the "Advanced Image search link" in the side. There you have lots of options and one of them is ability to filter out the images by usage rights. very effective way to fine tune your images search

There's a problem rumbling,I tried all the options in Usage Rights and when I had a photo to choose it says "Image may be copyright."

Yes, you will get that warning - Google does NOT guarantee the image is not copyright, they're just depending on the sites where the images are.  And it's possible the site itself stole the image in the first place!

It's your responsibility to check the copyright situation for ANY image you find on Google Images.  That's why I only use Flickr (using the Advanced Search for Creative Commons photos) because the situation is less confusing.

In general, you should assume an image IS copyright unless it says otherwise.

that message is there for every Google image search so you don't have to worry about it too much. If you are having trouble about understanding the filters you might want to check out http://www.google.com/support/websearch … swer=29508 Most images are free to use as long as you give proper credit. Hope this clears things a bit more

you dont even have to assume if not otherwise stated the image is copyrighted

just use the creative commons search as suggested above, its included in firefox by default!
