If everyone read this story, there wouldn't be any more war. No one with a conscience could sustain war if they realized what it costs innocent civilians.
This story isn't so much for entertainment, as it is for enlightenment. We, in the United States, have been so fortunate not to have had war on our own territory for a long, long, time. We forget what it was like to flee a war-torn country, as so many of our ancestors did.
I just realized I screwed up the title for the thread REALLY BAD, and I have no way to fix it. They are my typos, NOT the author of the hub...man, I wish I could fix it.
The title of this thread should read:
Myownworld just wrote a new hub, "Part I, an Immigrant's Tale"
