Since the broken links widget thingy changed to 'yellow' I have noticed it alerting me to broken links that are not 'highlighted in yellow'  when I try to find them. An example is this Hub:

    thanks!

I've had the same problem, as have others.

    Hi Eve, Anti-Valentine,

Thanks for reporting this issue!  Anti-Valentine, thanks for linking to the previous thread.

I'll take a look to see what's up and report on this thread when I have an update.

    Hi Anti-Valentine, Eve Murphy,

    I figured out Eve's problem.

    Eve,

In your hub, there is a link that does not have any text.  If you do a view source,  you will see that there is a link which surrounds a <br> tag.  (This problem is caused by copy-and-pasting an incomplete link)

The fix is to do the following:

    1) Do a View Source to find the invisible tag.

    2) Open the appropriate text capsule.

    3) Press the HTML button (this allows you to chance html directly)

    4) Manually remove the <a> or add text

    5) Press the "Update to Editor" button.

    6) Save the text capsule

Going forward, we'll add a fix so that either these types of links get automatically removed or get correctly highlighted in the broken link report.

That makes sense. It happens to me in my blogger post editor as well sometimes. Thanks Larry.

I used the html editor, and fixed the issue, it seems.
