I'm aware that some adsense ads will occasionally pay off a penny just for being viewed without being clicked. What I'm not sure about is exactly how that pay comes in. I have no solid facts but I feel like it is more likely that certain ads will earn fractions of cents per view that will eventually roll over into appreciable cash.
If I'm wrong, there are just some rare advertisements that show up and give you cash no matter what. If so, is it worth building keywords and ad placement around the possibility of getting these ads? If I could even get it to occur 1/4 of the time I'd probably be making more than I would with my average daily CTR.
Anyways, I'm obviously a little ignorant on this topic so I thought I would throw it out to our brain trust here. Thanks for any help in advance.
You wouldn't try and build anything to encourage it. You'd just approach it the same way as PPC.
Some advertisers opt for CPM ads.
