Hey guys, I wrote a dictionary on Adsense and wondering if I left anything out. Any suggestions for more words?

Your definition of referral is incorrect in relation to its meaning to adsense.
Adsense does not have a referral program anymore and when it did it referred to publisher referrals not anything related to your visitors behavior
deartfuldodger, they might not have a referral program anymore however, when you log into your adsense account the referrals still show up. Until the 'referrals' statistics are no longer displayed, my definition is still valid. Thanks
no, no its not.
the adsense referral program was for referring other publishers to the adsense program
Those that took part may still be receiving residuals hence the reason it still exists as a feature
It does not now nor dis it ever refer to your definition
"Referrals - When an ad is displayed on your site, it is either selling something to the user of asking them to sign up for something. Whenever they sign up to a program after clicking one of your ads, you get paid commission. You could try putting up a site that reviews a service and see how it performs."
PPC is distinct and different from CPA - you are referring to a cost per action referral - there is no tracking by adsense whether a visitor performs any sign ups or purchases

I get you. I have never referred another publisher but have made earnings from it. I'll change it and thanks again!

Just recently google did start an affilaite network (well, bought and renamed an existing one) and soon people will be making money based on referrals and actions...but one must apply and be accepted for the program

I just started hubbing and I was wondering if those who had been here a while could let me know what kind of results they have had with the referral program? Has anyone tried running advertisements with their hubpage url anywhere? What kind of results did that get? Thanks!

Has anyone had great success with the URL Tracker and referrals? I just read what it was about and seems like a great way to provide incentive for other hubbers to promote other user's content. Does anyone use this strategy to make a lot of money?

Hi,I referred about 30 people to hubpages and switched back to their hub program with paypal thinking that I would not get the referral money (10 percent) from their earnings. Is this true, or if I use adsense only, do I still get 10 percent referral money?

# The Traffic Referrals is guaranteed to be yours for 120 minutes. If someone clicks on your link to a specific Hub, you are entitled to the traffic referral impressions for 120 minutes. We set this limit because there may be multiple Hubbers referring people to a particular Hub. No other tracker...

I've read the FAQ, darkside's hubs, and several forum threads and didn't see an answer to this.If somebody lands on one of my hubs via a Google search, for example, and thinks "WTF is this cr*p? I could do better!" or (hopefully!) "Wow, this is so awesome - I want to join this site...

Is the referral program still active at HubPages? Referring writers to come and writer for HP through the unique tracking link?
