A. Politically correct indoctrination.
B. Rote memorization of crucial skills (i.e. x tables)
C. Logical, informed, problem solving skills
D. Combination of two of the above
As a retired teacher, I choose "C." I taught high school and college, however. I suppose some memorization is neccesary in younger children, like with the alphabet.
