Twitter uses - do you use Seesmic Desktop?

Engineered for Windows to provide the very best Twitter experience. Manage and view multiple Twitter accounts, lists and searches in separate columns and more!

This is a brilliant tool to help keep you up to date on what is going on in your niche markets (real time). I found it slowed my computer down somewhat (but then again I am not using a state-of-the-art computer and I have a slow connection.)

Just thought maybe you would like to check it out - Its free

I mostly use HootSuite on the web. That way can post to all my accounts from the same place.

Does this also keep you updated on all tweets for whichever keywords you specify?

Hootsuite does all of this for free and a lot more - RSS feeds, keyword tracking, etc..

Another great tool for twitter is http://www.tweetree.com - again its free, no sign up, just log in to the API and you're away - makes twitter conversations very easy to follow..

I'm also using tweetdeck, but these others sound nice for the niche and keyword tracking aspect.  Will have to try them out.
