Putting together a website to advertise my photoshop skill-z.  I have a domain name registered, just need to find an inexpensive hosting service.  I know that many of my friends here on Hubpages do their own web-blogging and the like, so what would you experts suggest?

Seconding this, and waiting for experts.
I read Isabella's hub on blogs, and that was useful.

I host on bluehost for $7 a month. No problem for two years.

I host on GoDaddy for cheap and have had no problems for a year now. I had technical difficulties launching my site and they helped me out right away. They have a 24/7 hotline in the States. So I would give them a thumbs up.

We use Bluehost, because when we did our research we discovered that a huge number of other hosting companies were just reselling Bluehost at a mark-up.

There was a possible issue with GoDaddy and ownership of domain names - I'm not sure of the details but one of the Hubbers here has posted about it elsewhere.

I use ipowerweb.  And if you host with them the domain name renewal is free.
