The holidays really sent me off my groove. Anyone else experiencing this and need to get back in the groove of writing daily?

Numbers are down and it's a bit depressing looking at it. What are you all doing to get it back going again?

I started planning out my work with my new 2010 calendar and am working on a few new hub ideas. Today for me is the beginning of a whole new year full of great experiences.

Is this is a gala day for you then?
Well, a gal a day is enough for me. I don’t think I could handle any more.

Yeah, I think that ladies already, somehow, knew that Ralwus. smile

      @Lynnchandler,

Don't worry. You'll get your groove back and start working it like you did before. You only have to have belief in your ability to get back to what would be normal, I guess.

Good Luck and Hope You had a Great Holiday!!!!!!!! smile

Ralwus: You always bring a smile.

Cagsil: TY, I know it will come back. Planning is good though just had some I wanted to do today and struggling with them. Gonna take a break, get some leftovers in me and come back to it later.

Mmm... left over sausage balls and cantaloupe. Got my one hub done on Christmas day at my house. Working on a few other ideas. I'm still trying to get to the ever elusive 100th hub before the end of the year. Just 8 more to go. I can do this, I can, I know I can.

Have a blessed day one and all!

I have been thrown off, but it started several weeks ago - I just seem to have writers block and I can't come up with anything that I feel excited about writing about like I used to.  Hopefully the new year will bring new ideas and inspiration!

I know what you mean about that elusive 100th - I feel the same way!!

Lily Rose: I hope you get it back. I am working on it, lol. I had to basically stop everything this past week because my mother fell ill and my father was having stress attacks because she was ill. This left it up to me to deal with delivering my sisters Christmas to her and her family and there is tainted blood there. Anyhow, I then had my reg things to do to get ready for our Christmas as it was the last one with my daughter for a while and that took its toll on me.

So, finally things are getting better, mom is on the mend, dad of course is fine now that she is better and Christmas has past.

Lynne this is where a long- and short-term business plan or Hubbing plan is important.

It takes the emotional aspect out of it. You've agreed with yourself that these hubs are important to write by a certain date. And then you keep the agreement with yourself. In short you just write whether you feel like it or not.

Over a number of years, I've learned that if I don't work very steadily, large gaps occur within my income stream - which I just can't allow to happen.

I wish I could just write whether I feel like it or not!  You're very lucky you have that ability.

Yes, I think being able to write on demand one of the reasons that I've been successful in affiliate marketing. At one point I considered a career in journalism as well.

Yep, I am planning all that out. Valuable lesson learned here is that things can go south pretty quick and you need to have your writing in place ready to be pubbed not just sitting in formulation stage.

CW--how ya doing? Do you still have company? You will get back to it all. I have faith in you. As for the brain being mush, I think family does that to us, lol.

Yep, I'm kinda doing the planning and writing things out thing this week. Plan to hit the ground running and not look back starting the first of the year.

CW: Sounds like fun. Report back on what movie you see.

Cool beans will be looking for your hub. I won't see it until it reaches DVD as with most movies of late. I just saw Star Trek and though I did make an exception and saw Public Enemies in the theater, I rented it again this weekend.
