I've been getting a mindless spammer masquerading as two people arguing with each other. The IP address is the same, if I couldn't tell from the illiterate posting style.
I've denied the initial comment that started the flood (I'd originally approved it) and have denied and marked as spam each subsequent reply, but I'm curious... when (or will?) HubPages respond to the spam flag? And what actions are taken?

Usually the first thing I do when I log on here is to check out the 'New' hubs to see what's going on. I also usually end up flagging spammy hubs along the way. The thing is that the spammers seem to be following...

I am the only one getting these looong spammy comments on my Hubs. Of course I am deleting and hitting the spam button. I guess they don't know they have to be approved before anyone can view their posts.

Please see the comment I wrote in your other thread. Understand HP gets a LOT of irritating spam, so often our knee jerk response is to assume we've got a spammer on our hands. This is especially the case...
