I've been getting a mindless spammer masquerading as two people arguing with each other. The IP address is the same, if I couldn't tell from the illiterate posting style.
I've denied the initial comment that started the flood (I'd originally approved it) and have denied and marked as spam each subsequent reply, but I'm curious... when (or will?) HubPages respond to the spam flag? And what actions are taken?

Usually the first thing I do when I log on here is to check out the 'New' hubs to see what's going on. I also usually end up flagging spammy hubs along the way. The thing is that the spammers seem to be following...

Please see the comment I wrote in your other thread. Understand HP gets a LOT of irritating spam, so often our knee jerk response is to assume we've got a spammer on our hands. This is especially the case...

Since we are allowed to put affiliate links in hubs, how do you tell whether to flag a hub as spam?I was hub hopping, and flagged some hubs as spam, then realized they might just be affiliate hubs. When should we flag?
