Never heard until now. I checked out their incentive program and their PPM is really low. Unless you score the highest rank (2PPM), you're stuck with 0.25 or 1.0 PPM. AC and Helium seem to have higher.
However the fact that it's a dedicated news site might help for news pieces as those don't usually do well on AC or Helium, so if you're a wanna be reporter it might be worth it.
It's only too bad the minimum is 100$
