Paintings?

    I've been lookings at some paintings online that just.. Leave me in awe O:  I love beautiful things.

    Do you guys have any pictures or paintings that just leave you breathless?

      I visited the British National Gallery last year and wrote a hub on photorealism in which I discussed the 16th century artist Joachim Beuckelaer.  I'm not a big fan of photorealism, being post-impressionistic myself.  But I was impressed by the illusion of reality.

    I remember the first time I stood looking at paintings by Thomas Kincade. I couldn't take my eyes off them. The snow, houses,flowers and lights in these paintings looked so real. They were beautiful and I was awe.

    I'm extremely fussy when it comes to paintings.

    Van Gogh, Picasso and most post-impressionist painters don't do anything for me. There are very few exceptions.
