I was wondering if anyone knew whether inserting URL trackers from hubpages would affect search engine rankings since those ranking take into account back-links and the URL trackers change the URL of the link.
Many search engines will remove trackers from their indexes.
When resolved it will count as the normal default URL. So you can use them.
Though avoid using them at social bookmarking sites, they don't like people submitting links with what is effectively an affiliate link.
Thanks for the information. I have been wondering this for some time now.
Here's something that Paul Deeds said about 301 redirects that should put your mind at ease.
