Does it get easier as you do more hubs? I know, stupid question. It's just that this one took me way too long.
Yes, it does get easier with practice. When you hit reply to this, you'll see a gray box to the left of the textbox where you're typing that will tell you that you're not supposed to start a thread for the sole purpose of promotion or posting links. The HubChallenge participants do have a designated thread for posting links if you are participating in the hubchallenge. It can be found here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/18049
You'll want to post all your links there and not open threads for it.
Good luck with the rest of the challenge, looks like you're off to a good start!
oops, I'm already violating policy, and I don't know what the policy is. I thought this is where people were posting their new links. My bad, I guess.
Sadly, I just posted another before finding this. :-(
And, btw, I didn't think this was "promotional". Isn't it just seen by those who are hubbers?
It's promotional regardless of who you're promoting it to. Just post it in the designated thread and you'll be ok.

Hi! I am new to Hubpages and I am trying to post my first article but I have been flag as Overly Promotional. I already change the 'Links' so it looks as natural as possible but it did not pass the test. So I am hoping...

I had a Hub published about two years ago. The score on it was 83 and it received fairly good traffic. I recently edited it to add some additional info and a website for that info. That made two...

Someone recently stated that there are limits to how much you can link to your own hubs. Does anybody know the limitations?
