What's the difference between bribery and lobbying?

    Now that the supreme court in the US removed the caps on corporate donations to politicians, I am curious what the difference is between lobbying and bribery.

    I'm considering becoming a politician now so I can accept lobbyist donations or bribes or whatever...








    kidding of course.  But seriously...

    The difference is common American =Bribery= criminal and jail time.
    Politician= lobbying=legal!
