Having problems publishing hubs

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but it takes forever an a day to publish a new hub on my computer. I've tried two different computers.

The hubs never publish in their current browser. After a few minutes I open a new tab or a new browser and the hub shows that it's published, but I only see that I've published a hub in my personal hubtivity, not in the hubtivity for the website.

I just re-edit and click done editing, but still nothing. I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem.

OH! and when I am able to pull it up in a new browser, the hubs saves out of order, so I have to move the last few capsules around.

I had this problem over the weekend.  I haven't tried publishing today, though.  I wondered if maybe the rush to publish hubs before the contest deadline might have been the cause.  Yes, though, you're not alone.

I just press the publish button twice.

It works, and only publishes the hub once. big_smile

I just got the little "working" message forever, and then I would wait a while and publish and it would be fine.

I get the working button and when I pull up a different tab its published but no signs of the hub in the hubtivity of the website, just my profile hubtivity. I've only seen my last hub in the hubtivity of the site.

I had these issues last night and this morning.  After the "working" message was there for a bit, I'd get a message that the command couldn't go through, or something.  But after refreshing the page, the hub would be published.

Yes, I've had issues too.  I haven't tried to publish anything since about 8:30 this morning (4 hours ago or so), but its seemed slow to me too.

I didn't have any issues yesterday, just had to hit the publish button twice, that's all.

The solution seems obvious to me.  You guys should just take a break from publishing for a while, at least until the HubLove contest is over.  I think that would solve the problem.

    ...especially Stacie & Whitney.

Psh.. I mean, I'll finish in the top five anyway, but I'm not just going to stop because I have to click a button twice.  I'm not -that- ADD.  tongue

    By the way, HI PETER!

Hey, GG.  I'm just jealous b/c I can't keep up.  I busted my butt all Friday night & Saturday and I only got 4 hubs on Religion, so I'm looking for any edge.

Hehe  it's ok Peter, I'm still trying to figure out ways to convince the winner they don't need the Canon.. >.>  Do you think ten pounds of chocolate mint fudge and exclusive pictures of my sweet Sierra would be convincing?  LOL

Leaving the contest to one side - a sore point because we non-Americans are not allowed to play (!) - I keep having a problem when editing a text capsule that drifts all over the screen and won't allow the cursor to get in. I often have to abandon the edit and come back to it later. Is this a problem that other people have had?

I had it happen once this morning but I think that happened because I tried to move the capsule.  Otherwise, I'm having more trouble with things like saving photos.  And it wouldn't let me add the hub I just published to the right group -- I had to try a couple of times before it would take.

I suspect most of the trouble is because of the recent volume.  Maybe it'll settle down at the end of the week.

Aacck!   No drifting capsules, but everything is slow.  It took about 5 minutes to publish my last hub.  I thought for sure it had traveled somewhere far... far away.

    (Hi everyone!)
