For those of you who dont know I started doing a fitness challenge on JAN 3RD to improve my performance in football and loose 10kg Check it out on my page would love to hear anyones comments and thoughts on it
Hi there, you seem lonely lol so thought I'd answer you. I don't know if this counts, I suppose it is a challenge to myself, but for the last month and a half I've been challenging/forcing myself up very early, be it 6,7- 8am and the first thing I do is drink a pint of water, and straight out(wearing cloths to) for a 6 mile run, 5 days a week. At the start it was very hard, but my fitness and alertness has gone through the roof. totally has me in great shape.
haha definatley wanted a conversation ! Yeah started like a month ago and love the gym ! Always played football and just realy wanted to take the next step to go up a level new year as good a time as any ! Getting up that early is definatley a challenge haha I prefer exercise around 3 so im finished around 5 and have dinner with no snacking ! you play any sport ?
I use to box, gave it up to work, also played soccer, gaeilge football and hurling. I train now 5-6 days a week, resting one day, witch includes a swim, you should go for a light swim on your day of rest, great for muscle massage. If your trying to lose weight, a lot of water and a run before breakfast is, first thing is the way to get started, great for boosting your metabolism, and just eating healthy, plenty of fish and veg, is better than any diet.
I'll spend just a couple of hours in a gym, but my passion, and my fitness experience is, you just can't beat a punch bag, excuse the pun
Yeah was thinkin about goin to do a mix martial arts class just for the intensity of the fitness and some LIGHT sparring just as an extra to my routine yeah I usualy hit the bag in the gym and alot of squats I started of wanting to loose weight but now Im at 12.4 and really keen in getting bigger arms chest and shoulders haha ! Yeah boxing is somthing I wouldnt do but appeciate a good quality boxer like mayweather.
haha I love when people get addicted to fitness, such a natural high, you become a new person. You know, you can still take up boxing without the conflict, builds up great natural strength, or the martial arts even, doing something like this, say 1-2 nights a week, incorporating it in to your schedule, will benefit your muscles, and also strengthen your most important muscle, your brain. I'm not to big in muscle, at the weight I want to be, but i Can lift heavy compared to big muscular guys, different type of strength, years of conditioning I suppose. Is it soccer you play.
Yeah soccer in the UK though so football haha love it ! Playing at a good level just now but would love to step up another to pro ! Always been into it but my problem was consistency and my diet was off ! Now new year best time to start ! Six miles in the morning is intense ! Do you do any long distance runing competitivley !

I'm a fitness freak myself so I'm usually active all the time. I'm a professional mountain climber, love rock climbing too, despise the gym but still go to see whoz the hottest trainer around and I am also a tri athlete.
Read your hubs and think you're doing ok and keep it up. Just don't get lazy and stop over at Taco bells for a bite!

Alright well thats good then I used to run cross country a few years ago done quite well but just wasnt for me ! Think it was because no tackling and lack of physicality ! So will you be going out tomorow morning then ?
Yeah only problem that cant be fixed is height lol Im 5 foot 8 maybe 9 last game we played had to play against a boy 7.2 was up too his elbows ! haha domanated on the pitch but when I organised the team at a corner no one matcheed up to him lol We lost he scored two headers !!!
Yeah Ive got it watched man utd arsenal today Rooney has stepped up big time to fill Ronaldos shoes . Was out at bars friday and sat not drinking tho ! Sad i missed the Madrid game beet depor for the first time away in 17 years !!

Hi guys. I am into fitness too the best high in the world.I did a lot of aerobic workouts dancing, kick boxing, walking, etc and got a great body from that but it wasn't until I added weight training that I sculpted my body totally, amazing results. People say they are too tired to exercise, but if only they realised that exercise gives you huge amounts of energy. Yea I am a total fitness junky if I miss a workout I can't sleep until I have worked out.
