I received a set of encyclopedias at the age of nine. I went through those suckers like poop through a goose. I loved those books. Now, the internet seems to have replaced these wonderful tomes.
After I got married I threw them in a trash dumpster because I didn't need them anymore. My wife already knew everything anyway.
I do. I have two World Book sets: 1954 and 1991. Some of the info is out of date, but they are so fun to look through. Every time I open one up, I learn something about a subject I had never thought to study. My kids love them too. When we go on vacation, they often bring an encyclopedia or two along. They always amaze me with the knowledge they glean through the hours of looking.
I use the Funk & Wagnalls new encyclopedia from 1986 to keep up to date on current events.

Does anyone write for Bubblews and if so what do you think of it? Would it be a good idea to take the hubs I have that aren't performing well and put them on there?
