I just checked my mail awhile ago and Ebay has announced they are dropping CJ as their affiliate platform and starting their own in-house program. I'm guessing the migration on Hubpages will be mostly transparent, but this should certainly be interesting. I've got a half dozen or so other websites I'll have to change. I'm just hoping the software I use will be updated by the various programmers involved.
So what do you think? Good news for affiliates or bad?
Yes. More paperwork. I didn't take a long look at it, but does this mean two separate payments (I have some other CJ affiliates)
I haven't gotten it... Will this affect any commission from February and March that are pending? Or whatever one would be waiting to get paid, which apparently takes forever! :-(
Mark, yes, more paperwork. We'll get paid by Ebay instead of CJ. That'll mean my CJ income will dry up since I see most of my commissions coming from Ebay.
Whitney, it won't effect anything for February or March. You'll still get paid by CJ for whatever sales you made through CJ.
