New to the Hubpages. Decided that I'd test this site out with 30 hubs in a week. I love the layouts, Amazon and way you can add Kontera to your Hubs!
I'm actually doing an experiment compared with InfoBarrel and will be adding Ehow soon. I won't post my Blog here since I don't want to be spammy, but you can follow the experiment via my Blog in profile.
Currently writing at 3 other sites but decided to pull all energy to Hubpages. Last night I put up my second hub and I was shocked since it was indexed on the second page of Google within less than 24 hours!

It sounds like you have the experience writing under a deadline. I personally would start with 30 hubs in 30 days. I find hubs are easy to write, but I spend as much or more time building the hub with links, images, polls, and video.
Focus on quality over quantity. One a day is a good pace.
