I went to far too quick and I have so much stuff to add, Is adding to existing hubs going to have any adverse effects?
None whatsoever-- in fact it will probably improve things.
You will notice that all of your hubs have an edit button.
Most of us edit our hubs frequently, if not continually.
You can delete it-- I thought my reply didn't "take"-- I'll delete one of mine, too.
