I have just come across a paragraph in someones page of my work, its certainly my writing as i wrote it only a few weeks back, how do i get this to stop and can i get them to take it off?
However, thanks to your using the word page, it's not clear if you are talking about a hub or another website.
A few paragraphs of my work from one of my hubs has been used elsewhere without my permission.
Locate the site file a DMCA a complaint have it removed and go to my freecopyright.com register and protect all of your work. That way you have a leg to stand on.
I have written a hub which might help you How To Protect Your Hubs Against Spinners, Spammers and Plagiarists it also has a link that provides a DMCA Template should you ultimately need it.
