The news has been running this story about the cricket player marrying a tennis player, I thought that was a bit rare, but why would they not marry each other when they are living in adjoining countries.
Sounds very strange to me!
Because pakistan and India are in a permanent half-state of war I guess, different religions too etc etc.

I would guess cricket/tennis is more rare than India/Pakistan
They do marry. I have two friends, married, he from Pakistan and she from India. But they're not in the news because they're just regular ole' folks. Not interesting enough for the media.
Am the daughter of a pakistani mother and Indian father... Trust me it happens; just you hear only the negative side of it in the media!
