Just looking for feedback - it seems to be something completely out of nowhere for me - not sure if I should add to it, reword it or what.

This is obviously a very personal Hub, so not sure what feedback you're seeking.
In terms of getting external visitors via search engines, it's probably too short - you should always aim for at least 400 words on a Hub. Obviously it's not written with money-making in mind so I won't offer any advice on that score.
I think this was a very honestly written hub. It speaks from the heart. Whether you are here to make money or merely express yourself, your words in the hub were encouraging and courageous! I loved it.!!!
