My home page is showing questions. It's interesting to see what is being asked.
The problem (for me) is that I can't see who the question is directed to.
Some of them are very bizarre when they are out of context.
Then, I'm not sure if it was a general question, or something being asked of a specific hubber.
This may be a feature already, but if it is I can't find it.
Somebody (well, it was Mighty Mom) asked me a very general question when I opened an account and I'm glad she did because it got me writing right away. It was a little kick in the butt to get going (thanks again MM)
It would be neat if we could see if the question was intended for a specific person. I don't feel comfortable jumping in with an answer if it was meant for somebody else, and if another person had answered the question that MM asked me, I probably would not have written a hub about it.
My understanding is that you can direct a request to a specific Hubber, but as it's a public request, it's open for anyone to answer. If you want to request a Hub privately, or ask a question of one specific Hubber, then you would use the "contact" facility on their profile.

All of us that have visited the question section know that much of the content there is of very questionable quality. It's difficult to see how many of the questions really contribute to the community or discussion on...
