   Feeling really rotten today because;
   A) I ache all over and my finger joints are swollen.
   B) I've caught my old mans' stomach bug and every time I eat it hurts.
   C) Living in filthy rennovation and its driving me mad.
   D) Living with him in said filthy house 24/7 and he's driving me mad.
   
   I'm one miserable cow today.  Come on hubbers, tell me off for being such an old bag!

      Hehehe! I thought the heading said you need a stiff DRINK! Wasn't far wrong by the sound of it, except it will make your tummy worse! Chin up...things can only get better

      This will soon pass.Think of yoursef as a heroic pioneer.Don't forget to photograph or video the rennovation work you are carrying out. You will be able to look back and see the miraculous transformation your hard work has brought about.

   have some hot peppermint tea, it is soothing. Dont eat if it hurts, my kids have just all gotten over the stomach bug, and I am catching it now, I feel for you...but it should go away pretty fast. Rennovations will not last forever either, and when they are done you will be soo happy!! What are you doing to your house? And one winter my husband took the whole winter off......no matter how much you love soemone you just cant spend 24/7 together for long! If you cant spend time apart, maybe you can think of somethign fun to do together?

      Thanks Justin, sensible bug advice.  We are restoring a 300 year old french farm house and living in it at the same time.  we've been at it for 9 months and the first room just needs its floor putting in and the 2nd plastering.  Treating the wood this week and the chemicals make you feel ick.  And your right about spending all that time together too.  I'm driving him mad as well.  Thanks for your kindness.

         you have no right to complain. you are the envy of many franceophiles and we look through magazines to get ideas on how to convert our 20 year old homes into french cottage style. you are living many people's dream. 
         
         as far as the chemicals, that could be affecting you more than the bug, do you have the windows open, fans? do you wear one of those masks when it's applied?
         
         
         spend some time outside and take it easy today.  I'm sure you'll feel better soon.

            your absolutely right, we are very lucky indeed to be doing what we're doing.  Just the telling off I need.  We are taking all precautions with the chemicals but I think your right, we probably are ingesting some of it, despite all the windows being open.  Thanks again for your kindness!
