    It is a theme that is repeated in history and literature.  There's nothing ever new, only new, modern variations on the old stories.

    There are only a handful of plots that can be re-hashed over and over, just by making or adding twists. wink

      As I did when I saw the movie. Technically laughable with even worse acting. It was childish and typically moralizing.
      I thought it was bloody awful! smile

        I agree mostly - but I actually enjoyed the movie in 3D - but then after a lifetime of having to try and talk to christians without arguing every point I have a good ability to suspend disbelief when watching movies or reading big_smile

    Well be that as it may, it was still an awesome movie! But I will admit that even the first time I saw it, I thought of the way the indians were treated when the colonists came over. Funny.
