Cagsil, my hubs are long works of art, developed through a process consisting of, but not limited to: research, introspection, review, editing, elaboration and reflection. They are not the product of spur of the moment 'challenges' or games.
Did someone ever ask Shakespeare to come up with a play in 5 minutes? Did someone ever challenge Da Vinci to draw a picture of that Mona Lisa chick in a few seconds?
I'll read, I really don't think I can type 600 (legiable)words that fast. Plus I would have to keep going back and counting and I am not so good at that either. No way. And I am not being arguementative. I just have read quailty things in my life that are far less then 600 words. But I suppose your talking hupages stuff, not poetry?
clearly you can set any standard you wish, that isn't what I meant. I just honestly didn't know the 600 word thing. I hope people do it, sounds cool.
Welcome to HubPages! However, I am not sure if you'll be able to put out, what is asked for?
You're new and I am not even sure if you read the Opening Post? If you want to try, then by all means. Good luck, but it might help you, if you learned how to write a hub, before entering into a challenge of the sort.
There wasn't a misunderstanding at all. It might be nicer and easier for you to learn more about HubPages, before trying to a challenge of this sort.
There is one person who took part in the Challenge earlier today, and has yet to finish the hub, so that is my point. The Hub Writer already knows their way around hubs and writing them, and they did not finish.
That's all. It isn't anything against you. Like I said, you want to try, then by all means, do so.

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating...
