I just started writing hubs today and I have 5 visits to my first hub since I signed up about 5 or 6 hours ago and I wrote a new hub and I want to place adds from my adsense on there but I don't know how.Any ideas please.
Very easy. Goto the affiliate settings under your my account tab (where you input your amazon link) and click edit beside the google adsense link (believe it's at the top of the affiliate links.)
It will give you an option to input your account name and postcode/phone number and it's done. You should have a string of random letters and numbers show up on your affiliate page beside it if you did it correctly.
Once that's done you don't have to do anything ever again (except watch your ad clicks on adsense.) - hubpages automatically inserts ads into your page. It can take a few days for ads to match your content though.
Check whether the clicks you are getting are from hubpages or from outside sources. You'll almost never get clicks from other hubpage users so your goal is to get the page into the search engines.
Also remember that anytime you view your own hubs it's counted as a pageview so if you edited a few times that may be your views.
It can take a few days for pages to start getting hits off google if they're going to.
Just remember - don't wait around to see if one page will flourish - go write another hub... and another and another.
Yes i do have a account at adsense already but its under a different e-mail address then this website.I made it awhile ago.

Clicks comes in when I least expect them to. The only way to find out if I have earned anything is to keep checking my google adsense account.
