I have a hub already to go but I am reluctant to publish it because I am using pictures that have been sent for me to use on my hub with permission from the photographer. What I want to know is whether or not it is okay to provide a link to the photographer's website acknowledging that as being the source of the photos? I know he is okay with my using them and not crediting them but I feel that I ought to.
So, my question is would there be any "penalty" for doing so?
Raisingme - I always include a link to the photographer's site. You are never penalized for including a link to another site, where did you get that idea?
The only time you can be penalized is when you include more than two links to the same website in a Hub.
When I've been given permission to use photos, I give credit to the owner in the caption below the picture. I also provide a link to their website in the Links Capsule.
