What are YOU, fellow hubber, doing for summer?

So far I have been doing a lot of driving, and taking my brother to the VA in Ann Arbor for his tumor treatments and doctor visits.  When I have free time, I go to my favorite beach, and have spent a couple weekends camping.

I was able to camp Memorial Day weekend, and I had a great time. I made a lot of new friends, and, for the first time ever, I didn't get a sunburn!

Camping already, beach already, now in August heading to Fire Island a couple of days and a big bash party at a friends house and of course working in between.  OH, I'm also keeping the pace up writing Hubs.  Enjoy the rest of the summer everyone.

not sure yet - work may get in the way.  normally take off for 3-4 weeks - last 5 years have been motorcycle trips.

do have one travel plan - land in texas and travel around texas, louisianna, alabama, georgia and south carolina - still up in the air.

just want to travel somewhere, somehow, someway....outtahere!

I have to join the masses working also.... But there are always the weekends for swimming, drinking, womanizing, and generally enjoying myself (normally over 30degrees here in the winter also so no different to the summer for having fun at the weekends - except more indoors during the day when the temperature hits 45degrees plus...)

I can't work a regular job because of sickness, so I will spend my summer doing a lot of writing.

Other than my original responce to this post, I am doing everything I can to beat the heat. It has been in the 90's here in Michigan for a couple weeks now, and next week is supposed to be even hotter! Yikes!

My main focus is going to be on my camping trips. I spent 5 days camping over the fourth of july weekend, ended up getting sick afterwords. So, now I am trying to get better before my next trip in August.

I still want to go to an amusement park this summer. I need to get my coaster fix. But, might settle on going to the local fair. Otherwise....camping, and more camping.

Work, work, gardening, work, taking the four-legged pest to the dog park, work....that's been my summer so far smile.

That said, next week both of my sons will be here for a while (I've talked to my stepson for a while over the internet, but Tuesday will be the first time meeting him in person) and by time they leave summer will be over, so it's about to get a lot more interesting big_smile.
