Hi am new to the hubpages and need some opinions on my hubs so far. I have had a few clicks but havent earned anything yet.
Well..I'm sorry hotsummer1. The trouble with your hubs is that they're way too general and way too short. A good, informative hub is at least 500 words. You need to put more of a personal touch to your writing, you know..more of a conversational style, rather than just factual stuff that anyone could dig up and post as a hub article. I suspect that lack of originality is going to keep your hub score low unless you put more into it.
One good thing though..not too many typos, and good, proper phrasing in most cases.
You also don't have any Adwords or Amazon ads, so you won't earn anything without them. You need to sign up with Google and / or Amazon first.
Keep trying though..we're a really friendly bunch here, and always willing to help newbies. Good luck.
