I haven't seen the right answer yet...
i have two possible answers...

one more go please ?
Only one guess, Barry.
uh oh, 21 knows how to cook.
only one guess..........hmmm decisions, decisions.what caught be was the boiling word....
I keep thinking of a tincture, but that'd be the final product.
oh well, here it is: macerate.
Oh I didn't know we only get one guess. Sorry.
nooooooo can i take it back! I knew it was the other one.
brew sounds good !
Haven't seen the right answer yet...
does it start with the leteer F ?
Distil was mine ist one !
well, it's worth a try...not a technique per se but you do mash/cut the herbs and tie in cheesecloth and place in the water to steep for flavor....
i struck my funny bone, but no it was actually a good guess because the bouquet is what is boiled or steeped.
too bad we only get one guess... who wants to pay me for my other suggestion?
i got one too if only we could swap
marinate, don't think
Can I use a sockpuppet? I have another guess.J/K
you don't cook, do you?
Actually shouldn't laugh - I never even read the question right!
Still haven't seen it...(The clues get tougher and tougher every day.)
So frustrating. I know the answer, but now it's too late...
Correct!Congratulations, mrpopo. Decoct/Decoction is the technique we were looking for.You now have 3 bonus entries in tomorrow's Daily Drawing!
WTF ? never heard of it !
Sounds like another word for circumcision! lol!
Decoct isn't a work most men would forget. Good job Mr. Popo!
I remember it vaguely from an old PowerPoint presentation on brewing a few years ago. Came across it while researching the subject. But, I hadn't heard of it prior to that! Then again, I'm not much of a cook, unless you count microwavable items...
Cool! Uh, what does that mean, exactly? Do I have to make any Hubs?
You certainly can, but you now have 3 entries automatically for the Daily Drawing tomorrow. You can publish up to 5 Hubs on today's topic to increase your chances (each eligible Hub will give you another entry).
Ah, ok. Thanks!
Congrats!! I should have known this...I wrote a hub describing this technique!! D'OH!!!
good work Po!my guess was going to be coction, which means boil. Awesome!
only one go !
Steeping is when herbs/items are put in water that has been boiled but then taken off the heat.Decoction is done while actively boiling. I have done enough herb work I should have known that.
I was actually gonna guess steeping first too.
Is the term you are looking for the word "broil" ? I am not even sure its a word, my Grandmother says it is. Anyway, that's my one chance used up! Cheers!
