I'm just wondering - if you're promoting your blog on a Hub,what's the best way to do it?
A RSS feed is quick to set up, and updates constantly to your latest post. You can get 8 links out of it.
However, contextual links are supposed to be highly regarded by Google, so would two contextual links be worth more than 8 RSS links?
for backlinks the contextual would be more powerful
for directing traffic to the blog - a high profile (highly visible, well placed )rss would be quite valuable
