   I just went into this feature to share my new hubs on Facebook and noticed an option to Share With My Followers - does this mean my hubs aren't included in the daily email?  Do I have to select this option first?  This could explain a lot!!  lol

         Clarify? Yes, you can share with your followers, even though they receive the newsletter daily. You can do this so you can get traffic sooner than the newsletter.

               I think we are mixing up facebook with informing your followers.  If you ckick share with followers a email goes out to all your followers and as long as their  email settings allow the email to enter their inbox then they can choose to read the email  Facebook is a seperate issue !

                  Right.  I went into the Share feature to share on Facebook.  Then I saw the option to Share With Followers & asked the question in this thread.

                     Yes one sends out a message to your Hubpage followers
                     
                     the facebook just posts  an article on your Facebook (if you have a Facebook account) page !

   I think that the intention of that feature is to enable you to share other peoples hubs with your followers.
   
   I just demonstrated this by sharing 'How Does Equality Survive In Capitalism?' by Cagsil with my followers.
   
   If anybody is following me, I would be grateful if they could confirm notification of this.
   
   The intention is certainly not, as Cagsil suggests, to inform your own followers twice.

      No Ryan, it is not meant only for that purpose. It can be used both ways.
