Political pivot point for women & Australia at 9 00 am EST today

    At around 10 pm EST(Australia) last night a spill was called in Australia politcs by the current Prime Minister Kevin Rudd & Julia Gillard. (thr reasons are complicated will blog about this later) A ballot will be held today at 9 00 a, EST around 4 hours from now to see if our current deputy Julia Gillard will become Australias first woman Prime Minister.

    The implication for Women,Australia the current Labor Party the future for All Australians are enormous....

      i'll reply barry, women are ruling everywhere and good on them! Julia Gillard for PM, Anna Bligh for QLD Premier and maybe Hillary Clinton will be the next USA Prez? who knows?

          Kristine Kenneally  (related by marriage to the great current  author Thomas Kenneally ) may well in my view grasp victory from the jaws of defeat for Labor in NSW.

        Hilary Clinton indeed tilt at the US Presidency  might well be  on depending on Mr Obama's forunes in the next twelve month's or so.
